Requested comments:
1. Utilities prices are average electricity costs. In summer time consumption may be higher. Cooking gas comes in containers weighed 12 kg, 15US$/container, and an average family of 4 may use 1-2 containers/mo. or more depending on consumption. Furthermore, the Tenants shall pay garbage collection and waterrate fee which is about 25-200US$/month.
Normally expats rent a maid to work daily or 02-03 times a week with fee from 20-100 US$/month.
Phone fee in Vietnam is reduced and met Asean equality.
2. Certainly the rental are negotiable only (other fees are due to your consumption). Sometimes the rent may be reduced because the Tenants accepts to pay more rent in advance (06-12 months). Summer holiday is the time of more properties available.
3. Most premises are equipped with aircons, fridge, gas cooker, washing machine, cable TV system whereas unfurnished properties have aircons only. But some houses/aparts are fully equipped and you just bring in your suitcase and live.
4. UNIS schools now locates in West Lake (Ciputra) and this makes the area more favourable.
5. My Dinh (Center of International Conference locates) is a new/modern area with new towers and national admin organs buildings - New Admin Center of the city.
